What steps are involved in the production process of aluminum coils?

Aluminum coil is a metal product that is cast and rolled for flying shear after injection molding and drawing angle processing, and is widely used in electronic devices, packaging, engineering and construction, mechanical equipment and other fields. So what is the production process of this product? The following I will share it with you.
1、Smelter processing
Aluminum ingots are divided into three kinds of scrap aluminum for remelting, high purity scrap aluminum and aluminum alloy profile ingots according to different compositions; they can be divided into several categories such as bar ingots, round ingots, plate ingots and T-shaped ingots according to appearance and specifications. Aluminum is a silver-colored metal material, ranking third in the earth’s surface after oxygen and silicon. Aluminum is less dense, only 34.61% of iron and 30.33% of copper, so it is also called a non-metallic material, and is a rare metal second only to steel in world production and use.
2、Casting and rolling/hot rolling
The liquid metal is fed from the stationary furnace according to the flow channel into the front box where the liquid level height and width ratio can be manipulated. At the bottom of the front box, a cross pouring channel is set up so that the liquid metal is fed into the casting nozzle through the regulator and the metal material is evenly distributed into the specified total width. The liquid metal is discharged from the casting nozzle that is in contact with the roll surface of the casting and rolling machine cooling. Then through the straightening, release rolls into the plate. Casting and rolling when the middle of the two rolls have a similar trapezoidal section, where the section to instantly cast and roll two processes, and therefore to strictly control the length of the casting and rolling area, casting temperature, refrigeration and forging rate, crystallization of a momentary demand for liquid metal and liquid metal pent-up working pressure and other elements, in order to make casting and rolling normal.
3, aluminum coil cold rolling process
The difference between cold rolling and hot rolling is that cold rolling is rolling under the process hardening temperature, while hot rolling is rolling above the process hardening temperature. Each has advantages and disadvantages. Cold rolling mainly solves the material that cannot be hot strengthened, generally higher regulations for the surface layer, and single zero foil double zero foil and other slim materials can only be rolled by cold rolling; and hot rolling is mainly for cold rolling to present the embryo, followed by many materials need to have high corrosion resistance, relieve fatigue, ductility and other such features also need to be obtained by hot rolling.
4、Flattening packaging
Aluminum coil leveling packaging is essentially the choice of small press down rate (0.3%-3%) of cold rolling. Leveling can improve the plate shape, enhance the verticality of the plate strip, according to adjusting the leveling depression rate, can make the physical properties of the plate hot-rolled strip in a certain range of transformation. According to the double click mouse frame or three sound card frame leveling can also complete a large press down rate, to facilitate the manufacture of thin tinned plate. After heat treatment, the general sheet and strip, tin-plated plate, automotive plates, etc. need to be leveled. To learn more about aluminum coil please visit https://www.lomialuminium.com/aluminum-coil/
